It's not secret that advertisements, no matter what form you may find them in, are seen as a nuisance or an annoyance to many people. However, I don't view advertisements that way at all. When it comes to browsing the web, I find banner ads on websites to greatly enhance the experience. Not only do banner ads give you more to read or look at, but more often than not, the bright colors or flashy pictures found on the ads will help greatly to enhance the look and feel of a website. I have been to many websites in the past that have not included banner ads of any kind into their layout, and I have often found myself very unimpressed with how bland and colorless the websites look without them. As long as banner ads don't automatically play an annoying song or video, or prove to be a nuisance of some kind, I am a big supporter of their presence on any website, and I truly believe any webmaster would be foolish to not consider including some. |
