Be yourself! you hear these words everyday at every corner you pass by, words said by every person, who instead of being the person she really is, dresses like the man who lives next to her home. Not all you see is real, not all you hear is true, and not all your dreams can be accomplished, but one thing is undoubtable: when it comes to fashion, you have to be YOU!i will always choose a pair of occasion shoes, a simple black dresss, a little clutch and a fine necklece instead of choosing a glittery t-shirt or a sparkly skirt. elegance is the key of succes in everything, but more important is the way you wear your elegance, that has to come from the inside, to be shown at the outside and be proven in the clothes you wear. instead of complicating things by choosing the clothes that don't represent you, and only choose them because they are in trend, try wearing clothes that yell: THIS IS REALLY ME! |

If I were to go to a fancy dress up party, I would love to dress in the style of the flapper girls from the 1920's - one of the best womens fancy dress costumes in my opinion. I would wear one of the dresses that had row upon row of fringe that would shimmer and shake with every move. On my head I would have a head band with a large gem and a feather in the front. To complete the outfit, I would wear a choker necklace of pearls and a pair of high heel shoes with a strap. It would be so fun to wear this outfit, and get out on the dance floor and go to town. Maybe I could also have a fake cigarette with a really long holder. It would be even more fun to drive to the party in an old Rolls Royce like they had in "The Great Gatsby", but it would be pretty hard to find one that I could use. |

My sister bought me a lovely brown leather handbag from Canada and posted it back to me for Christmas 2 years ago. I am a mother of 2 young children and this bag is quite the “Mary Poppins” bag. It never gets full to the top, yet I can fit everything I need in it, and it is not overly big to carry on my shoulder. I previously had a thing for evening bags when I was a childless single woman, but now I'm a lot more practical! I love this bag because it is the longest lasting one I’ve ever owned. It has even survived two runs through the washing machine after unplanned liquids leaking all over it. I wish she could remember where she bought it so I could get more of them, not that this one is showing any signs of falling apart anytime soon. It is my home away from home, and I love it. It is not a designer brand bag but I love it and I dread the day I have to try to replace it. |

My favorite fashion item is wedges sandals. I love these sandals. In summer it is for me the perfect sandals to be elegant and sexy. I love high heels but not those that are very thin, so the wedges sandals fit me very well. Without the wedges sandals I could not have a good summer they are very chic, very cute and you can find them in different colors, different heights, and each occasion demands its own type of wedges sandals. I love shoes in general, and I have dozens and I buy new ones from time to time. My second preferred fashion item are chic cocktail rings. I think an elegant woman has always pretty bright rings that showcase her hands. It's the subtle accessories like these that really complete your look - understatement is more powerful than overstatement (if you ask me), and I love to show of my fashion tastes in a subtle way. |
